Invited by the Municipality of Rome to create a promotional video for the Eternal City—intended for screening at Italian Cultural Institutes abroad and distribution to tour operators, Zeffirelli conceived a short film that blends contemporary footage of the city with iconic scenes from classic films. The project culminates with the final scene of "Tosca", the quintessential Roman opera.
