Although damaged by the flood that hit Florence in 1966, the document kept in the Archives of the Artistic Lyceum shows the very good marks obtained by Zeffirelli for his diploma. As an award, he is allowed to venture together with a friend on a bicycle tour of Italy. For the first time he visits Rome, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, the Padula Charterhouse, the Puglia region.
